Troubleshooting Guide
If your display is showing an error code, here are some suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue. If you are still having problems, please contact us for assistance
Error code | Description | Troubleshooting Method |
03 | Brake Enabled | Check if your brake lever is engaged and that any brake sensors are installed correctly |
04 | Throttle has not returned home | Check if your throttle is stuck |
05 | Throttle fault | Check if your throttle is damaged or malfunctioning |
06 | Low Voltage Protection | Check that your battery is fully charged |
07 | Over voltage Protection | Check your battery voltage. Make sure you are using a 48v or 52v battery. |
08 | Motor hall signal cable fault | Check your motor for damage. The hall sensor may be malfunctioning |
09 | Motor phase cable fault | Check your motor for damage. |
10 | Motor overheating | Stop riding your bike until this error code disappears. |
11 | Controller temperature sensor failure | Check your controller for damage |
12 | Current sensor failure | Check your controller for damage |
13 | Battery temperature fault | Check your battery for overheating |
21 | Speed sensor fault | Check that your speed sensor and spoke magnet are both properly installed and there is only 3-5mm clearance between the two |
22 | BMS communication fault | Replace your battery |
30 | Communication fault | Check all connections between your display and motor. Inspect cables for damage |
