The Lekkie Bling Ring is a huge upgrade for your BBSHD. This beautifully machined and anodized alloy chainring improves the look of your bike and drops a pound of weight in the process! The narrow-wide tooth profile helps with chain retention as well.
Choose your chainring based on your gearing and chainline requirements. The 40T, 42T and 46T gives you the best possible chainline and bring your chain closer to the bottom bracket.
The 40T chainring has 2mm more offset than the 42T for those builds that need a little more offset. Included in the 40T package is a Bling Ring Spacer which allows for variable offset. The 40T ring also features an external chain guide ring to give another level of chain retention and protect your pants from engaging the chain. To be able to run a 40T you must run the Lekkie Drive cCver, and to get maximum offset, you must file away part of your motor body. If you do not want to modify your motor, you must use the included spacer. (See the manual for details). The 40T package includes the 40T Bling Ring, 2mm Bling Ring Spacer and drive cover. The 40T replacement ring does not include the drive cover or spacer.
The new PRO chainrings feature a very carefully design tooth pattern helps create a smooth chain pick up especially on installations with bad chain line. These are compatible with the new Shimano 12 speed chain as well as KMC and SRAM Eagle chains. Because of the narrower tooth pattern, we recommend that Pro rings are only used on 10,11 and 12 speed chain. Lower speed bikes will have better chain retention with the classic Bling Ring. These rings also offer 2mm more offset than the original version.
